Sense of Security
My thoughts
The hands are a deliberately chosen motif that goes back to a childhood memory: a photo shoot almost 30 years ago where my mother held my little hands in hers, very firmly and very gently. I was still small at the time, but I remember how safe I felt at that moment. Like a quiet haven in the midst of all the uncertainties.
With this painting, I wanted to capture exactly this feeling that security is not just something external, but can grow deeply from a relationship, namely from closeness, warmth and unconditional love. My mother was and is this anchor for me. Even today as an adult, I still feel this strength when she holds my hands. It is a feeling that words can hardly capture.
The gray arms reaching into the picture represent time passing and all that is changing. But in the midst of these changes, something remains: the moment of touch, the connection, the feeling of "I am here. You are not alone."

A friendship is based on deep trust, loyalty, understanding, and support in every situation; it is characterized by a strong emotional bond. Best friends not only share the good times, but also stand by each other in difficult times. They can talk openly about all their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment and build each other up.

Relationships in the family, friendship and romantic context are based on respect, trust, communication and shared experiences that strengthen us and our connection.

A healing and warming connection between people that gives us a sense of connection and support. These interpersonal relationships allow us to share common experiences, support each other and share our feelings.

My thoughts
The emotional connection between two people can create positive feelings through warmth, compassion and affection, even on bad days. You can build each other up and transfer energy.
